Museum 6D – Maszoperia
Today’s technological capabilities make museums not resemble those of the old – years where there was silence, exhibits could not be touched, and on the legs it was mandatory to have slippers.
One of the modern museums is the 6D – Maszoperia Museum with an interactive exhibition of the XXI century.
Over 500 m2 of wall paintings made in 3D technology presents the life and work of Baltic mascops, and props and special effects additionally complement the visualization. The mist-shrouded halls reveal wall paintings, the beauty of which can be admired by wearing special glasses with a three-dimensional effect.
Multicolored soap bubbles and the smell of sea breeze float in the air. The wind blows the face, and the floor rocking to the rhythm of the sea waves gives the impression of a cruise on the sea. Sitting at a festive table, you can feel the atmosphere of the Mashopian celebration, and by spinning the steering wheel – take on the role of the captain of the ship. You can call a real cutter bell or peek through the boulevard. Any comments and expressive expression of emotions are welcome. Anyone who wants to can touch the exhibits without fear that in a moment he will get a reminder.
A voice-over recording (to choose from in Polish, English and German) leads visitors through individual exhibition rooms, bringing them closer to the history of fishermen from Kolobrzeg. Words, images and special effects work together to create an interesting story in which the true Mashopian fate is intertwined with the legend of the enchanted fishing net.
Museum 6D – Maszoperia is the only place of this type in Europe – place for anyone who wants to experience something new and amazing regardless of age or nationality.
Unusual story, special effects and three-dimensional images – it is necessary to see, it is necessary to survive! Museum 6D – Maszoperia invites and small and large to participate in a wonderful adventure.
