Sauna: brine, steam, Finnish, and “Russian bath”
The Aquacenter sauna area completes our water complex.
This additional space for relaxation embodies modernity whilst at the same time drawing inspiration from ancient and Mediterranean baths. Sauna use has a healing effect on the human body; in addition, it is a real pleasure and a great source of relaxation.
Having the environment in mind and aiming to minimize its degradation, we offer the use of two types of saunas: steam and dry. The remaining two saunas, also dry and steam, will be activated when the hotel is at a higher occupancy rate. Being aware that this will be done to benefit the environment without any inconvenience to you, we appreciate your understanding.
Beneficial brine
A visit to the brine sauna is the perfect way to cleanse the body of toxins. Whilst in the sauna, your body is oxygenated, causing the appearance of your skin to be significantly improved. All of this is thanks to the steam deeply penetrating the skin. Your muscles are relaxed, so that all of the tension in your body is released.
Regular visits to the brine sauna cause a rise in cardiovascular endurance. The brine sauna is also an excellent from of protecting the respiratory system. A visit to brine bath strengthens your immunity. The temperature of the bath is approximately 40-80 ° C.
One session should take around 10 to 15 minutes. It is recommended to have two to three sessions.
Mild heat
Mild temperatures and high humidity put the body into a state of relaxation. After a visit to the steam bath, skin becomes smooth and delicate. Clouds of steam create a characteristic atmosphere, cutting the body off from external stimuli. To enhance the experience, essential oils are sprayed in the sauna.
The heat from a steam bath stimulates the immune system, increases the metabolism, improves blood circulation and relieves stress. The temperature of the steam is 40-50°C, whilst the humidity is around 90-100%.
One session should last from five to 25 minutes. It is recommended to have around two to three sessions.

The sauna is entirely made of wood and stone. It usually hosts sauna rituals with a saunamaster using smoke, aromatic herbal infusions and birch twigs (vihta). Humidity is 30-40%, and the temperature is approximately 65°C.
Sauna rituals
Sauna rituals take place every Thursday and Saturday. They are conducted by sauna masters from the Seaside Healthy Sauna Club in Kolobrzeg.
How is sauna with a saunamaster different from a regular stay in a sauna?
The main purpose of staying in the sauna is to warm up the body and get psychophysical effects for our body. If you want to get them, you should stay in the sauna for about 15 minutes and in the right conditions. Most people are not aware of how to get this goal and therefore staying in the sauna with a saunamaster gives us, in addition to effectively heating the body, also the opportunity to educate the correct sauna.
Is it necessary to prepare for sauna with a saunamaster in a special way?
Absolutely not. During the ritual, you can always leave the sauna. Just be prepared to follow proper sauna etiquette, which means staying in the sauna wrapped in towels. This should not be misinterpreted as being naked in the sauna. We are wrapped in towels.
The saunamaster will certainly ensure that sauna rules are followed during the shared sauna session, so you should mentally prepare for this aspect.
